Rev up your motorcycles and enjoy the Ride for the Breath of Life motorcycle ride on Saturday, September 18th, 2010.   Join other riders at Gasoline Alley Harley Davidson in Red Deer, Alberta for a light breakfast.  Then take off on a fun jaunt to Rosedale, near Drumheller where you will meet up with riders from Calgary and southern Alberta for a BBQ, prizes, Show & Shine, and more.  All bikes welcome!!!

Registration is at 9:30AM on the 18th.

The registration fee is $25/bike (plus $10 for a passenger).  Raise $125 and there's no registration fee.  Raise $200 and you are entered for a Westjet prize of airfare for two.

More info at the Cystic Fibrosis website: http://www.cysticfibrosis.ca/en/events/index.php

Hope to see some board members come out to support this worthwhile cause.  The Calgary Cystic Fibrosis fundraiser is riding to the same spot so hopefully we'll see some southern board members there as well  :)

Bump  :)

Weather looks like it's going to cooperate this Saturday.  Anyone planning on coming out?  I've never actually been on a organized ride like this before so you won't be the only newb out there.

I'm planning on sticking around Drumheller for a while after the ride out so I can cruise there for a bit.  The Dinosaur Trail is a fun and scenic ride and there's a few other good roads around there as well.

How did the charity ride go?  Did a few show up from the forum, or were you the only one?

I wanted to go, but I had promissed the "Boss" that I would finish some of the chores around the house before playing this weekend...my clutch cable broke on Sunday...boo...

Anyway, I hope your ride was good...hope the wind wasn't too much of a problem...

Later.
