What would a good offer be for this?
« on: June 06, 2010, 03:35:04 PM »
First off, i think having a section where people can post links to places like Kijiji, craigslist, and other classifieds sites, asking it the community if the bike is a good deal or not? Just a suggestion.

The bike im looking at right now is a 1992 CRB F2 600, the guys asking $3600? Is he crazy, or is this about right?

Thanks in advance (=

The Blue Book says Clean $2900 and average $2450?? So go from there. If you want pricing for Free from the Blue Books, go to http://www.cbbtrader.com

I've added a new section (Deal or No Deal) under the Buy & Sell section and moved this post there.  I would recommend that you create a poll with your post as an additional way of receiving feedback.

Get it inspected.

Offer to pay for the inspection if it passes and agree to buy the bike should it pass. An downed bike could look fine but be in rough shape.

By agreeing to pay for the inspection if it passes the seller should have no problem doing the inspection especially if you agree to purchase the bike should it pass.

I went through this and glad i did as the bike failed and had a cracked frame.

The additional cost is worth it.
