Loud Exhaust Tickets?
« on: July 20, 2009, 12:31:00 PM »
I recently moved to Edmonton and just got my bike here.

Anyone got a ticket or know of anyone who got tickets for their exhaust being too loud?

I hear on the radio that they're cracking down on it but I haven't heard of anyone actually getting a ticket.

I almost got a ticket last year in my car, but the cop gave me shit more because it sounds ricey and is annoying for him to hear it. I wouldn't really worry too much about it, short of being straight piped it'll be quiet enough for them to not bother pulling you over

If you are running straight pipes with a H.O. engine...yup, you might get to talk to the boys in blue more often than wanted...might get away with it if you stay out of the throttle when cops are around.

Later.
