I've got Joe rocket alter-ego gear and I really like it. The jacket shell zips off and becomes a Kevlar mesh jacket. It great for hot days in traffic. Pants have a 2.5" wide vent that runs from knee to knee around the butt providing good ventilation. Both jacket and pants have a rain liner that can be zipped in. The rain liner is will also keep you warmer on cold days.
Well that's my two cents. Look for them on sale and I think you'll be happy with your purchase.
