Just an FYI for those who may not of heard of it, but at www.meetup.com you can join and get notifications of organized group rides. Calgary alone has 3-4 different motorcycle groups to join. So far my experience with them has been great, its just a matter of finding the right group that best suits the riding experience you want to get.
