Bonjourno

Hey all!

Great site you have here. How did I miss this?

Was googling "lane-splitting alberta" as I was curious if it actually is technically illegal or not (specifically stated as a violation on the books) and found this site.

Thread I found was this one:

http://www.albertamoto.com/general-motorcycle-discussion/lane-splitting-and-filtering/

That aside, helloooooooo  ;D

Some snaps:

(first 2 from an hour south west of edmonton)

(photoshop of a crop of a picture I took of a back road also near edmonton)

(forget the name of the lake. north east of edmonton from what I recall. not far.)

same spot as the one from the first 2 snaps:

Nice bike... 8)

Do you find it comfortable for longer rides? (Before the seat upgrade)

I just test rode two Suzukis this morning...the Boulevard M50 cruiser, and the Bandit 1250S sport touring.  I liked them both, but found on the cruiser my back started to get sore...probably because I am not used to the position, but the Bandit was great...more leg room than my GS500 and to say there is more power is a complete understatement  :o  I found that everytime I twisted the throttle I had to grip the bars tighter, it was great and couldn't stop grinning... ;D

Now I just have to figure out how to convince the wife that I need the Bandit...lol

I think maybe I will wait until next year to get a new bike, but WOW!!  Just need to make sure that I get a really good bonus this year...lol
