So thank google I have been a forum administrator for 10 years now, and know perfectly well how hard it is to get an online forum going. This is a great idea to have a community dedicated to riding specifically in Alberta, considering how popular bikes are in this part of the world.

Anyways, a little about me. I have been riding mopeds/scooters for some years now during my summer vacations but I never really considered getting a bike till this year. It has been in the back of my mind for some time, just sitting there.

Then, in July of this year, I went from 0 experience riding a motorcycle to cruising the streets of Calgary on my VFR800 in the span of 15 days. It is probably one of the fastest, most determined and wildest endeavors I took in my life. My goal was to get everyone done before I left for a vacation, and considering how short the summer is in Alberta, lets just say I considered it like a race against time.

Surprisingly, I'm actually very comfortable on my 110 HP VFR even though it's my first ever motorcycle. Just passed the 400 km mark on the ODO yesterday lol.

Well, looking forward to talking about bikes with you guys and perhaps meeting up for some rides before the blizzards arrive!
