Hi All
« on: August 18, 2010, 04:37:01 PM »
Found this site completely by accident on Kijiji.....Anyway, just thought I would drop in and say hello!!!

I own two sportbikes: 2005 CBR1000 Repsol Edition and a 2006 Triumph Daytona 675 (love em both)

Hope to meet up with some of you for a ride sometime soon  :)

Welcome to the forum! I think that the admin of the board also has the Repsol 1000 and lives in Calgary haha

Whatre your views on  the Triumph? Im thinking of buying a 600 Class bike in the spring

Oh cool, I've yet to meet another Repsol rider  :)

The Triumph is great fun....very small and flickable, great for buzzing around the city or the track

Hey Scorpion,

That was probably my ad since I refenced this site in it.  I just got back from a 4,085km trip to Sturgis, South Dakota on my '07 Repsol and boy was that interesting.  I took over 500 pictures and filled out a journal every day so I'll be putting a trip report up shortly with some of my favourites shots.  Here's one of the shots I took...

I saw a 675 on one of my routine pilgrimages to Blackfoot Motorsports here in Calgary. I thought it looked like a really beautiful bike. Quite a distinctive, fierce look.
