I finally got the KLR fixed up and managed to get my brother to come up and ride it to Bragg Creek with Kane and I. This was his first official ride ever. He completed his Calgary Safety Council course last Fall and had never been outside a parking lot with a motorcycle since then. He looked a little shaky at first leaving the city but handled himself pretty well soon after. Welcome to the club bro! Now if I can only get him to join this forum!
