Boo
call me crazy but i wanted them to do a road test and a skills test.
the parking lot test was much harder and required better riding skills.

The road portion is rules of the road and you should already have that if you have your Drivers License.

Would leader to safer and better riders and few crashes....just my opinion though.

I completely agree.  All the slow maneuvering in the skills test is much tougher than a road test.  I suppose people can still do a skills test if they enroll in a motorcycle riding course (ex. Calgary Safety Council, Too Cool Moto School, ...etc...) but it would have been nice if both a skills and road test were mandatory for getting your moto license.  I wonder how this will affect moto accident statistics going forward.
